  1. Do we ship out of the United States?

    Yes, we will ship via U.S.P.S. when shipping out of the United States. There is a $5 handling fee added to your order for this service. We ship Priority Mail unless you request expedited service.

    If you request us to ship to the U.S.Protectorates, Hawaii or Alaska we will automatically ship via U.S.P.S. Priority mail with a $5 handling fee.

  2. Why do you only ship to the Credit Card Billing Address?
    These types of security measures are unfortunately necessary in an online environment, where it is difficult to check someone's identity. In the physical world, sellers can check someone's credit card and driver's license. In the online world, where simple and effective identification tools do not yet exist, we have to take different precautions. We believe that these safety precautions are in the interest of all our customers. We do make exceptions in certain cases.

  3. What is your Shipping Policy?

    Patricia's ships all orders within 48 hours of receipt of order. If there is any delay due to an out-of-stock item, you will be notified within 3-4 business days of this status and the approximate ship date. Please notify us within 24 hours of this notice if the adjusted ship date is unsatisfactory. Patricia's will ship your backordered goods (when back in stock) if we do not hear from you otherwise. There will be no shipping charges on your backordered items.

    Patricia's uses UPS and insures all shipments. If you would like U.S.P.S. throughout the United States, a $5 handling fee will be added to your order. If you live in U.S. Protectorates, Alaska or Hawaii, your shipment will be automatically send via U.S.P.S. Priority and a $5 handling fee will be added to your order. International shipments will be quoted.

  4. Do you ship U.S.P.S.?

    We ship only via U.S.P.S. for packages going to the U.S. Protectorates, Alaska, Hawaii or Canada. There is a $5 handling fee automatically added to your order for this service.

    If your confirmed shipping address is a P.O. Box, a $5 handling fee is automatically added to your order.

    Please see below the reason for this extra fee.

    International shipments will be quoted.

    All shipments to Canada are sent USPS Global Priority or Express Insured. The shipping charges to Canada are *estimates*. Once we have mailed your package and have an exact amount of that shipment (plus a $5 handling charge) you will be notified of any adjustment to your shipping costs.

  5. What is your return policy?

    RETURN POLICY

    Patricia's strives for 100% satisfaction with our internet customers. For that reason, we only select the best quality clothing, gifts and accessories for our web catalog. If you find, upon receipt of your order, that the item(s) you purchased does not meet your expectations, please follow these steps:

    1. Request of return by calling (843-837-7439) during Office Hours 9am - 5pm EST MONDAY through FRIDAY. Please keep in mind that this is a home office. This call for return must be made within 4 (four) business days of receipt. After you have called you have fulfilled your obligation. There is no need to call again. A Return Authorization Number will be assigned within 48 hours via email.

    2. Merchandise must be received back within 10 (ten) days of receiving your RA Number. Make sure the RA Number is on the outside of the box.
      Packages without an RA Number will be refused.

    3. Merchandise must be returned with tags attached and all original paperwork. Merchandise will be returned to you if it appears to have been worn.

    4. The amount of you return will be credited back to your credit card less a 10% restock fee. We waive this fee if you: 1. Exchange the item for a different color or size. 2. Opt for an Online Gift Certificate.

      Please note: If you are returning or canceling a Wish List, Pre-Order or Trunk Show item, we do not issue credits on credit cards. Only exchanges and Online Gift Certificates are allowed.

  10. What is the schedule or dates of your future barn sales?
    Typically we have our Online Barn Sale right before FLAX has theirs in Ithica, NY. It varies between March and April depending on when FLAX sends out the catalog in a given year.

  11. Why isn't U.S.P.S. one of your standard shipping options?

    That is a very good question. At one time, we did offer U.S.P.S. as a shipping option to our customers. We found a number of problems with their on-line shipping programs, plus a much higher percentage of loss and damage to shipped goods as well as a lack of accountability for shipping issues created by them.

    We at Beachboutique.com track your packages shipped to confirm receipt at their destination. UPS’ program is very exact and rarely has a problem. When we tried to do this with the U.S.P.S. program, their system seemed never to be accurate. For example, it would tell us that a package was lost or was delayed in transit. When we’d called our customer to advise them of the situation, the customer would tell us that they had already received the package. When a package was in fact damaged or lost by U.S.P.S., it was a nightmare to put claims through to obtain coverage from the insurance placed on the package.

    Coupled with all of the above, we also evaluated the cost of delivery (note: in order to have tracking and delivery confirmation of a U.S.P.S. shipment, it has to be sent Priority Mail.) With the stamp and insurance increases that have happened recently, we have determined that the UPS shipping costs are less per pound with insurance than U.S.P.S.

    Why this fee? Because U.S.P.S. does not acknowledge receipt “in” of a package from us if we just put it in the mail box. An employee has to go to the post office and stand in line to finally have a postal clerk scan the package into their system.

    So, if you need to have your package sent U.S.P.S., we will be more than glad to go this extra mile for you. However, UPS offers better service to us and by that, also to you.
