    Missy sizes include Petite, Small, Medium and Large. Generous sizes run 1G, 2G and 3G.

  3. What happens if I need measurements?
    We will be happy to do so for up to three items. We just need to know the style and size of the item and the measurements you need. Due to the shear volume of styles and sizes offered, we are not able to provide the measurements for each item.

    The bust measurement on the Flax Girls Top in size medium is 57". The bust measurement on the Flax Girls Top in size large is 60". All measurements are considered approximate because everyone measures differently.

    The Large and 1G Linear Skirt measured 37.75" and 38" respectively. Let me know if you need anything else.

  6. Why can't you add bra circumference to the GENEROUS size chart so we don't have to guess? It would help. I'm a new Generous and it would help me measure and choose which I should pick. THANK YOU!
    FLAX does not make this information readily available to us... we wish they did. Each collection has approximately 15 styles that would need up to 4 different measurements (Bust, waist, hip, length) multiplied by the 6 sizes (S,M,L,1G,2G,3G) the style comes in is 360 measurements per collection. Currently we have 5 collections in-stock... That is a lot of measuring. We have a small store with a limited number of employees'. We will gladly measure a couple of items for you so you can get an idea of what size you would need. Just let me know.

    The Button V Tank is not high waisted. It just has darting detail at the waist so it is a little more fitted. One of our employees' tried it on and she said it was tight in the bust area so size up with this style. Hope I have been helpful.

    Because everybody measures differently, these measurements are considered approximate and not guaranteed. 1G: 50" 2G: 53"

    FLAX does not make this information readily available to us... we wish they did. Each collection has approximately 15 styles that would need up to 4 different measurements (Bust, Waist, Hip and Length) multiplied by the 6 sizes (S, M, L, 1G, 2G, 3G) each style comes in equals 360 measurements per collection. We have 5-6 collections in stock... That is a lot of measuring! We would have to hire someone full time just to measure. We will gladly measure a couple of items for you so you can get an idea of what size you would need. We also provide a size chart on our site to give you a starting point.

  11. "What do I do if I am not sure about my FLAX size?"

    Normally, you will size down with FLAX. By that, I mean if you are a size medium in the "real world" of clothing, you will be a size small in FLAX. You will find a general guide to FLAX sizing in the "About FLAX" section on our website. Need even further advice on sizing, you can find more details in our FAQ section.

    We at beachboutique.com recommend when at all possible to go to your nearest FLAX store and try on some FLAX pieces to determine what your size is in FLAX. If that is not possible or you do not feel comfortable with the sizing information provided, we recommend that you take your measurements with a tape measure. You should know:

    1. Your bust measurement around the widest portion of your chest.
    2. Your waist measurement around your natural waist.
    3. Your hip measurement at 7" below your natural waist. This is normally the widest part of your hip.
    4. Your pant length measurement is taken from your natural waist along the outside of your leg to one inch below the ankle.

    Once you have your measurements, you may email us at info@beachboutique.com with your measurement request. You must choose a specific size and style for us to measure. We will take measurements for a maximum of three items per request. We will take these approximate measurements of the sizes and styles requested and email them back to you. You can then compare them to your measurements and make your sizing decision.

    The best news of all is that FLAX rarely changes their specification on sizes. Once you determine your size, you can be fairly assured that the styles you select will fit correctly.
