Just to share my wonderful experience of Belize with all of you travellers around the world. I was on the Carnival Cruise a week ago and when we stop at the Belize Port my family and I booked the tour of the Maya ruins and the rain forest with www.actionboysbelize.com .Our tour guide was Donald and he was one of the finest tour guides we have ever been with. The drive from the terminal to the site lasted 45 minutes. We spent about an hour and a half on the site. Donald was very good with the history of the maya people. He also did presentations on some of their valued medicinal plants. He was very good. We then did a 20 minutes drive for lunch then headed on to the Baboon Sanctuary ( Rain Forest) where we hiked on trails in search of Howler monkeys.We all loved the rain forest a lot. The sounds of birds chirting, the fresh air,and most of all the howler monkeys. After the tour we were escorted to the terminal about an hour before our last tender .
