New NYC Passenger Terminal Parking rates eff 4/1/08

I just called the NYC Passenger Ship Terminal at Pier # 88/90/92 located on

12th Avenue & 55th Street...

They have a recording on their phone that the rates went up effective 4/1/08.

The New rates are $ 30.00 for each 24 hours, $ 25.00 for 10 hours, $ 300.00 for 10 days to 30 days.

I was just wondering if this is really true...Has anyone parked here lately???

I am leaving from NYC on May 1st and would like to have the cash ready. You have to pay when you arrive not when you leave.
