Inland tours from Ambergris Caye with www.actionboysbelize.com
My family spent 7 days vacation on Ambergris Caye. We stayed at The Palms. The accommodation was great and we loved their services a lot. We did 3 days of dives and were free for the next 4 days. We met a family staying at the hotel and they were at the hotel for 5 days already. They had booked the zipline and tubing tour with a small company from Belize City. The zipline and the tubing sounded interesting. We got the company’s information from them and called to book the same tour for the next day. We boarded the first ferry from Ambergris Caye to Belize city the next morning at 7:00 am. When we got off the ferry there was a neatly dressed guy holding a sign with the names of both families. He introduced himself as David. We boarded the van and off we went. When we got at the site we did the caves and than the zipping. The zipping was a BlAST! After the tours of the zipline and the cave tubing we headed to the City. Dave told us that we can add the tour of the zoo to the day’s activities with no extra cost, and all we needed to do was pay our entrance fees. When the kids heard this I knew we had to do the zoo. So we stopped at the zoo for a tour. The tour of the zoo last about 45 minutes. We took some pics. of the animals and continued to Belize City. We stopped at a local restaurant for lunch. Lunch was rice, bean, and chicken. It was great. After lunch we were dropped off at the Marine Terminal to board the ferry back to the Island. We called later the evening and booked : The Maya Ruins Of Lamanai, Xunantunich, and The Baboon Sanctuary. This company offer their tours very cheap and they are all fun tours. If you have the time book the Maya Runs Of Lamanai. You will love the river cruise. On the river cruise you will see a lot of wild life on the river banks. The ruins are works of art.
