polyurethane sucker pads
Hello, I'm trying to track down a manufacturer of polyurethane sucker pads similar to those used for holding blinds to the inside of car windows. If at all possible I would like these to have tabs on enabling easy removal. Does anyone have any bright ideas? I have tried moss plastics etc but no joy with PU. Jonathan Fox. |

Hi Jonathan, I am a little unsure of what you are after, are you looking for a manufacturer or are you looking at making them yourself? Tooling can be relatively cheap for this process in comparison to injection moulding. I would expect you to be using a PU elastomer, which is relatively flexible and should allow for you to easily add a tab. You should be able to quite simply make a tool to pour samples for this product. I work as a Freelance consultant in plastic product design and development. I also manufacture a couple of plastic products myself. If you require further help contact me on my email address. Email. swoodward@v21.me.uk Kind regards Steven Woodward PTUK |
