I think the posh name was Bill Quay Dene! My mam and I used to walk from George St to Bill Quay Library via the burnie every Tuesday night to change the library books. No TV in those days, books and the radio were the order of the day. The street lights weren't very good either but we had no fear of walking in the dark then.
