There is not must to see to see the fine details of the car, but I believe that you are correct, I think the telling feature is the rear wheel arch which shows theere is a chrome plate at the lower part. The reason that I say this is that for the last few months on a side road to where I live is a very old Austin tucked away from the road. At the time that I saw it I thought a good car to rebuild. I have just past it a few hours ago and indeed it is up for sale and is from what I saw an Austin A40 and it has this chrome plate in the position that I noted. I will take some photos of it when I pass the next timeas well as try to get some details of it. Incidently two weeks ago I went to a British car show and never seen so many old british cars in one spot, from Rolls and Bently's to MG's, minis ,triumphs old minors,A30,A35 and A40's as well as all other makes. Regret not taking my camera.
