I use two techniques when I am in a negative situation. I will imagine a cord connecting me to the person or event and I will break it. Also I will cover myself with indigo light protection around my body to block things I don't want to take in. I'm not saying these will work for you. Sometimes you need to be creative and think what visualization technique can I bring up when I am under the gun. Otherwise you are going to pick up every single thing. Sometimes just telling yourself enough! Will stop you from sucking it all up.
