Message:		I began making cloth dolls about 8 mos. ago. I made my own patterns at first. They were very basic. I then started getting Art Doll Quarterlly and Patti Medaris Culea books, along with searching the web. I used Patti's simplest pattern from "Cloth Doll Making" and so far I have made 5 dolls. My most difficult thing to do is rely on my own creativity and to let my dolls become what they want.I enjoy making colorful and bright whimsical dolls. I'm not very good at coming up with names or creating stories to go with my dolls, but with time and practice practice,practice, I hope to enter some of my dolls in contests. Good Luck. Patty
