BUD/S Training.

I am reciving physical theraphy at the Navy Hospital Great lakes Navy training center hospital. As I entter the base each day I see large groups of Navy seal candidates undergoining condioning training. I have been told that when the knew Navy Hospital is built and combine with the North Chicago VAMC and be known as the CAPT James A Lovell Federal medical treatment center. The present Hospital and Hospital Corps school will become the Navy Special operations center. And to cut down on the BUD/S drop out rate The candidates will leave Recruit training center go to C or A school and go straight int oconditioing training along with Dive and exsplosive training here at great lakes before going to Coronado For continued training. You see them all over the base with their flippers attached to thier back packs constantly running and carrying big logs . The base is undergoing a massive overhaul and it seems as if it will be a priemier Navy Base along with the $110 million dollar combined Navy VA hospital. I have fell in love with the hospital already. And I am pretty proud of our navy. Theres a hugh graduation every friday at the recruit training center and graduations daily from the many schools at mainside.
