Subject:   Who were the ones quoted in the Tribune?

Message:   Ron Florence? Peter Enger? Fayez Khozindar? It wasn't your nemesis, Sampat, who was quoted. Rather it was a series of Chicago cabdrivers who the reporter found to interview. Why do you want to pooh-pooh their efforts? How does this make for a fare increase?

Look, I wish you well in your efforts to organize cabdrivers in Chicago. Why would anyone wish you anything less? But tone down the passion against those who also mean well and who are struggling to accomplish the same set of goals. Your animus is accomplishing nothing productive.

This isn't Obama v. McCain. Let's hope that 1300 finally does make a difference, especially so when coupled with the threat of unannounced focused strikes if the 1300 go ignored. Why don't you take your 26 or 40 or however many and try to support the 1300.

In fact, I'll bet you those 1300 are to a person among the 2000 you had. Let's rally the other 700 and some more. Doesn't that make more sense than picking at one another?
