what bothers me the most about hs... where to begin...
I'm a big girl and every doctor starts by pointing out the obvious... you need to loose weight... its like it's their favorite thing to say... i want to tell them HEY MORON DON'T YOU THINK I WISH I COULD! It's not just about dieting... you need to exersize too... and what does exersizing do... make you sweat... HELLO~ MORE BOILS! being a kid made gym class a constant daily fear i had to live out.. now i just fear losing my sympathetic understanding partner. i dont think i could ever face trying to find someone else. especially with how bad my hs is now.
i've seen just about every dermatologist in central nj and they all said the same thing... lose weight except one. fialkoff... cheryl i think was her first name.. i was 12. she looked me dead in the eye... i'm vulnerable as all hell and she say's, "there's no cure for what you have. All I can do is hope that it goes away after puberty. " then she tagged me with the hs curse and i've been battling ever since.
all i want is to meet someone else with this terrible curse that can relate to me. my skinny friends just dont get it. or the people who've had one boil think they know it all... NO NO NO NO |
