Quite right. It is a MGB B Series 1800. I did not build the car and was unsure if the top hose was from an MGB.

Could somebody confirm that it is? Spares shops do not seem to stock hoses anymore and so I ended up using an 'universal' hose that can be bent to shape.

Just spent 4 days (600 miles) in northern France and the NG did not skip a beat.

Hi David. Any MGB parts stockist, such as MGBhive at Wisbech will supply a top hose which is straight. It is the only option available. I have one on my TF. David

Hi David, i used an MK1 MGB early thermostat housing, an Austin 1800 radiator and the top hose was cut from a section of Triumph 2000 MK1 radiator hose which had the correct angle and diameter,
