Beth Newby, ADO Regional Director, Area 4-2

Mar 11, 08 - 2:16 PM
Congratulations RCDA ADO Players - You did it again!

Congratulations to the RCDA ADO Program and it's participants - Again!

On March 3, 2008, Masters Regional Competition was held at the Craftsman Club in Nashville, TN. One of your very own, Cyndy Gaskin, has won the right to travel to Houston, TX, in June to play along with the other Regional winners in the ladies competition. This is the second national competition Cyndy has advanced to within little over a year's time. As some of you may remember, Cyndy represented the RCDA and Region 4-2 in the Cricket Nationals in 2007.

I would also like to congratulate Tom Sheets for placing 3rd in the men's competition. Joe Chaney, a GCDA Member, and Chuck Pankow, a GNDA member, will be advancing to Houston to represent the men.

Congratulations also goes out to Thomas Baugh for his efforts in the men's competition. All of those in attendance will be granted ADO National and Regional Points for their participation.

Check out the ADO Website (found on the RCDA links page) and the future issues of the ADO Magazine, Double Eagle, for how all of your RCDA members are doing this year. Not only are they granted competition points for advancing to the Regional and National Competitions, they are also awarded points for placing in sanctioned singles events held in tournaments like Shoot for the Moon.

For those who want the opportunity to advance to the ADO Regional and National Competitions, please play in your local association playoffs or attend the regional competition as a self-sponsored participant. The competition is great and the experience is one to remember!
