Sleep and Rem

I sleep pretty well, but never remember my dreams. My long term memory is also not very good either. I have participated in a sleep study and they said I didn't spend much time in the REM stage. My doctor wasn't particularly helpful in suggesting treatments. Are there any supplements or things I can do to increase/enhance my REM sleep? I've read a little bit about DHEA enhancing REM sleep and was wondering if this was true and if there are others. TIA
