I’m in the midst of writer’s block
I cannot find a way
Pen and paper in my hands
But no words can I say
Perhaps my mind has gone to sleep
It maybe needs a break
Time out from reality
Perhaps it’s for my sake
I hope to shift it one day soon
So once again I’ll write
It seems as though my world is dark
I want to find the light
For now though I must just accept
That writing’s not to be
I’ll give it time and wait until
The words are there for me

for someone with writers block, you sure do write a good poem lol.
i love this poem and it really means something to me. i've always loved writing, poems and stories, but i've had writers block for a long time now and can only seem to write when something really bad or hurtful happens.
i'm still holding onto hope that its going to pass, but if before it does you find a cure, please let me know lol
