My life is full of ups and downs
A rollercoaster ride
Faster and faster then out of control
Where gravity does not abide
It starts with a mood going up and then down
Falling further as though it might crash
A loop the loop when my heart seems to stop
Taking over me just like a rash
Then comes the scales as the digits rise steadily
Climbing right up to the top
A brief intermission, a nail biting pause
Preparing myself for the drop
Twisting and turning you’re thrown along
An express ride – no exit in sight
A blurring of shapes and a rush to the head
When you’re dropped from a very great height
As the ride levels out till it gradually halts
And you wait till they unlock the door
Unable to talk as you make your way out
Preparing to ride it once more
