baby girl

She goes to her room and turns off the light
holding jay jay she climbs into bed tonight
she looks out the window and up at the sky
as a tear slowly drops as she blinks her eye

so many thoughts she keeps locked inside
such a big world but theres no where to hide
lying there crying with no one around
the rain on the window is the only sound

she cant help the feelings of being alone
she's never more scared than in her own home
she cant seem to stop the tears from falling
silently inside its her mummy she is calling

when she's alright

that little girl is perfect
some people think
she's a miracle on this planet
some people love her
some people care
when she's alright

but that little girl
she hurts deep down inside
hiding all of her secrets
she has hid for all her life
and that little girl
she cries all through the night
cos that little girl
she's not alright, she's not alright

some days that girl
she just cant find her smile
some days that girl
she wonders why she's here
but she hides her pain away
cos she knows that she is loved
when she's alright

but that little girl

the days pass her by so fast
she wonders where they've gone
but as long as she smiles
she'll be loved from all around

closes her eyes to make a wish
wishing she was loved

GOODBYE MUMMY

You promised me you wouldn't go
you didn't even let me know
daddy told me you got too sad
now your in hospital feeling bad

what am i supposed to do?
don't you know that i love you?
I'm separated from you everyday
i cant even help I'm too far away

i don't know how to make it right
i need you please you have to fight
one day soon it will be you and me
we can be together happy and free

you cant do this mummy please
look at me begging on my knees
i need you mummy i need you here
mummy i'll only be 10 next year!

i know its hard but you will get through
you have me with you and daddy too
i promise the hospital really isn't that far
I'm with you always wherever you are

But if you leave mummy i will die inside
please mummy don't commit suicide
i don't want my mummy to die
mummy your illness is making me cry

i cant cope with all this pain
my heart is slowly breaking again
there is only one way out in my mind
so i open the drawer and look what i find

mummy hold on i am nearly there
this is how much i really do care
the blood pours out as i cut too deep
goodbye mummy, see you in my sleep.
