Shout it loud and clear
Scream it from the rooftops
So everyone can hear
Tell everyone around you
That you’re a VIP
And show them an alternative
To violence so they see
That Violence Is Preventable
And they don’t have to fight
For nothing can be solved like this
And violence is not right
We’re all exposed to violence
In many different ways
We hear it or we see it
Every minute, every day
Violence can be bullying
Or crimes with guns and knifes
Raging wars and conflicts
Abuse, neglect or fights
Violence is a path that causes
Pain for all involved
But you can choose a different route
And this can be resolved
By making different choices
And choosing to stand tall
You can start to make a change
For you and for us all
For I predict that if you can
The trend would soon catch on
And a world free of violence
At long last would be born!

wow, the amazing poems on here just keep coming. thats a great poem katy, and i think your really right. it just takes just one person to stand up and say no and others will follow and see violence isn't right.

Lets get serious now. i want to publish some of the poems that are flying about all over the place so that they can help other young people. have mentioned it already to at least one young person but now think i need to mention it to others. anyone wanting poems published.....see me! i can raise the dosh and get it done.
