This pain i feel is too hard to bear,
Never gone, it's always there.
When i found out i felt my heart break,
Seven months gone it's more than i could take.
Two years have since passed me by,
But one wee thing and it makes me cry.
One stupid night and you ruined my life,
I've stayed with you, but i'll never be your wife.
My family kept me strong,
Reassuring me I had done no wrong.
It was you, all you!
Out with your friends having a drink,
Of me or the baby you didn't think.
That night it ruined what we could of had,
I knew it, you'd be a man, a man like my dad.
But i kept you to give our son the opportunity,
To have a family, one built on unity.
So instead on the outside i pretend all is well,
It's so hard, theres no-one i could tell.
This pain i feel is too hard to bear,

i feel a kindred spirit in reading this,
and though pregnant i have not been!
still in oportune id like to you make wish,
that your heart is not blunted but ever keen!

lord knows enough pain we all have seen,
some of it dismissful, most of it obscene,
but if to our dreams we all stay true,
and give out gifts, like my love to you!
