Belize A.T.M. Caving Adventure

A.T.M. Caving adventure
Just got back home ( Houston ) after a 8 day vacation around Belize. I first visited Plasencia in the south. I love the beached, White sandy beaches with friendly people. I felt so much at home. I stayed for three night and there after flew to Belize City. I stayed at the Radisson hotel for 4 nights. I was told about A.T.M. caves, so I booked it with this company. We were picked up at 7:30 am for the tour. Donald Ramirez picked us up and drove us to the caves. Donald shared a lot of information with us. He told us about the history of the people, mayan history, and a lot more. He is indeed a cool person to hang out with. Carlos took us through the caves. You need to be in good shape for the atm tour. We swam upstream, jump over open spaces, and do some climbing. The most interesting thing about the atm cave was the murals that are still on the walls. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to bring along camera otherwise I would have posted a few picture of the murals.

After the caving tour Donald picked us up and drove us back to the hotel. This is a very interesting tour. It covers a lot of history, medicinal plants, and fun activity. I recommend this tour to you. I hope you have as much fun as we did.
