Enjoyed a good day of trout fishing "DOWN DULARGE". Finally, the weather was not a factor today as we enjoyed a slick calm gulf with no rain. I fished with Ed Villien, Buddy Rhodes, and Mike Guidry and everyone had a great time catching trout. We found 30 nice trout at our first stop catching them on live croakers. Our second stop produced another 30 fish mostly on the croakers along with a few on plastic. Only picked up another 4 or 5 fish the rest of the morning calling it quits just before noon with 65 trout. We could have caught more fish if we had not run out of croakers. Today was the first day I can really say that the live bait was worth the money as we usually throw it away. Good luck fishing.
