Saturday Morning Slam!

Day 2 on Saturday morning found us in Lake Mechant at sun up and we found the trout shortly afterwards. We avoided the boat show on the north bank of Mechant as it was nice to have a secluded hotspot all our own. The Tennessee trout slayers including Craig Fuson, Danny Trull and Theresa Gray were ready for another great fish catching adventure on the DU! The day before produced 100 nice trout and they were ready with fresh line and high expectations of another great day of whacking the yellowmouths. It was to be there last day of fishing so we caught a little of everything to put the icing on the cake. The crew busted up the trout catching 50 nice fish and we left to get on some reds. Long story short we caught 50 trout, 20 reds and 8 flounder for the day on the 'cajun pepper' Bayou Chubs. Back at the camp for noon. A great 2 days of fishing was enjoyed by all and the crew had some nice fillets to take home. Good luck fishing.
