Tuesday Trout Slam!

A great afternoon of 'catching' on the DU! Only had to make a couple stops to catch our 100 trout. I fished with Walter Voorhies, Ren Lunsford, and Richard Romero from the New Iberia area. We had big fun as the trout were eating up fast and furious. It's been real easy lately and all one needs is a boat to get out to Coon Island and the surrounding area. The fish are there and just about anyone can catch them right now whether you're a novice or not. I don't remember the fishing to be this good on a consistent basis like it's been this year! Everything today was caught on LSU chubs and Cajun Pepper. We had a nice little party on the water as Clayton Breaux and Andy Rulf along with a 3rd boat joined us for the evening trout slam. Brady Giroir also joined us with everyone limiting out with 300 trout in a couple hours! No place like the DU! Good luck fishing.
