Saturday Fishing
Our morning started off with some fast action with double and triple hook-ups as we found the trout eating up at our first stop around 6:40 am. Mike & Shaun Cluchey were on the front deck slinging in fish every other cast. David Faherty and I were on the back deck picking up a few as the cold front was bearing down on us. At 7:10 the cold front came crashing through with 20 kt winds and rain. We had about 30 trout and the party was over as quickly as it started. The rain just got worse and we headed in around 9:30 after trying a few other locations with no success. If we could have had another hour or so we would have filled the box as the fish were stacked up. It went from calm seas to 2 footers in a matter of minutes when the front crashed through the area. It was fun while it lasted!! Good luck fishing.
