Trout Slam
Terrebonne Parish is the place to be if you're looking to catch big numbers of fish. We're whacking the trout again this week and the fish are running nice with 15-20 inchers being caught daily. Carol Hebert,Janice Benoit & Linda Brame of Lafayette found out for themselves just how great out trout fishing is right now. The girls have been fishing with me for about 8 years and always fill the box. Our trip this week was another great one for the record books as we caught our 100 trout before 11:00am. The gals had a blast catching fish on just about every cast before the bite slowed down. Live minnows did the trick as the trout didn't want anything to do with plastic. I always look forward to Carol & the girls fishing trip as its always a fun day on the water. Janice cooked up a great lasagna supper the night before and topped it off with a tasty chocolate homemade pie. I'm editing a nice video of their trip and will post it soon. Good luck fishing.
