Bit of a long shot and i appreciate its a few months away (but nothing like a bit of prep).
I was wondering if anybody would be up for sharing a hotel room on the 3rd (i'm travelling down from Boulmer)
Haven't really looked in to prices much (just putting out feelers) but a Premier Inn is £54 for the night.
If anyone is interested or if you have any other suggestions let me know
Kev
..in fact just a quick look on Travel Lodge a room is £25.00

Re: Lanzarote Tour - Hotels at gatwick
Kev,
Fantastic idea. Some may also want to park cars since MT is not allowed. If we book in advance may be a cheaper deal. I am planning to stay the night but not sure whether I will be parking yet. Who is planning to do what and any good deals people know about?

My parents will be dropping me off so won't be parking, however a bus service runs from the Travelodge to Gatwick Terminals at £3 each way, but if your being picked up on the return leg anyhow it won't cost anything.
"A hotel shuttle bus is available to and from both Terminals, this service is £3 per adult and £2 per child (single journey). This operates every day (except Christmas Day) from 03.20 - 00.20. This service is operated by Hotel by Bus."

Re: Lanzarote Tour - Hotels at gatwick
I used a Gatwick B&B a couple of years ago. Cant remember the name but a google of Gatwick B&B brings up a selection to choose from. It cost about £30 for a single with breakfast and a lift to the airport. Had i had my car, could have also left it there at no charge. Worth surfing around a bit.

I will probably be staying overnight somewhere near Gatwick, not sure where yet, haven’t thought that far ahead!

If anyone is interested I've booked myself into the Travelodge at Gatwick on the 3rd March. Only room available was a Family room so there is a Sofa bed available if anyone wants it.

Kev, I'm in the same hotel, Jase Walkley and Reg Swallow are meant to be sharing with me, so one of those two might want to jump in with you. See you down there!
