The Royal Air Force Triathlon Association is greatly shocked to hear of the untimely death of our President, Air Chief Marshall Chris Moran.

He served as President of our Association from 1999 and over the years our membership has greatly appreciated his unwavering support for Triathlon and sport in general in the Royal Air Force. To us he was always ‘The Boss’ which was said with great fondness in recognition of the generosity he showed us with his time and affection. Always down to earth, he was incredibly understanding of the pressures that those in Royal Air Force are under as they juggle their primary duties with conducting and organising sporting activity.

We shall miss him tremendously and our thoughts and prayers go out to Lady Moran and the family during this sad time.
