TT's in Scotland

A lad at the civvie club i am involved with wants to know what the score is racing TT's in Scotland?

How to go about it etc?

(prob mainly aimed at Kelda here!)

Re: TT's in Scotland

I answered your text! Did you not get it?

Bascially it is all run within Scottish Cycling by local clubs, ie under British Cycling as SC is just a part of BC. You can buy a day licence or have BC membership with a race licence (just like tri). There is no equivalent of CTT in Scotland.

Be prepared to never ride a pb again as we ride proper hard courses up here ... none of the dual carriage way dragstrips you specialise in!

Re: TT's in Scotland

Nowt wrong with dual carriage ways for TTs! Once you do a few you get hooked on beating your times. Weather is normally the biggest obsticle!

Re: TT's in Scotland

haha Unfortunately there isnt any Dual Carriageway dragstrips around Stoke that they do TT's on....its hilly which ever way you leave the place!

Ill pass that on! Cheers :)

Yeh got your text this morning!!! just not got round to replying yet!!

My phone has been playing up :(
