Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am pleading for everyone to help. Last year one of the sports pillars Edwin Soar decided that the strain of the sport was becoming to much and after 15 years he would retire from officiating at events.

You will know him by sight at the Dambuster, Outlaw, Vitruvian and many national events. His calm nature and willingness to help competitors has been fantastic for the sport and worthy of just a little recognition. The level 4 Referee, was my mentor several years ago and has continued to mentor many other of the fun police.

Despite many years of solid work and commitment to the sport he has never been recognised for his hard work. Once again he was over looked in his final year by the BTF.

Please can you vote in the 220 awards in the above section for him. I have to say that this should be an award for the peole of triathlon and not the well done Chrissie Award which it has been for 2 years. You might even want to vote for the RAF in the club awards!
