Iota Phi Theta claims that BROTHERHOOD is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD.

I would like to take Iota to task on this. You see, many of these principles are passed along and accepted by the new CHRISTIAN members without stopping a moment to think about it, most likely because they accepted the unchristian PLEDGING process. So let's look at this statement.

The bible states that WE, Christians, show ourselves as Jesus' Dicsiples, by our love for one another. So what does a fraternal brotherhood consist of? DISCIPLES OF CHRIST and DISCIPLES OF SATAN (thru members who are fornicators, liars, homosexuals, etc.) So how could this brotherhood possibly represent the light of the world. Next, this brotherhood is obviously not based off of a biblical worldview.

Our first example of brotherhood in scriptures occurs with Cain and Abel. One chose the godly way and the other didn't? Look at what happened with one of Noah's sons. One could say, well most of these are blood relatives, which is the same old lame excuse GREEKS use to justify hazing; "siblings fight and beat each other up"! So I just want to stop that argument on the spot.


Here are examples of brotherhood from a righteous-unrighteous or both unrighteous character. Cain and Abel, Jacob and Esau, Judas and Jesus along with the Disciples, Moses and Pharaoh, etc. are a clear indications of what happens when you put godly people with ungodly people in a close knit relationship whether blood related or not. So when GLO's try to form these close knit relationships through oaths and pledging, you will find that these relationships are not only superficial, but ungodly. COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if the brotherhood of Iota Phi Theta or brotherhood in general is the LIGHT of the world, proclaim that light. What/Who/When/Where did it come from?
