Re: Undercover Greeks?

Jason P.
First let me state that I am not gay and I have nothing against gay people.

My question is how is homosexuality viewed in BGLOs (Fraternities specifically)? And how many members of these orgs are undercover and are using their letters to cover up their sexuality?

And why does it seem that homosexuality in sororities is more commonly accepted compared to fraternities?

Gay men actually use the perceived manliness of pledging and the whole process to cover their homosexuality. How many gay men who pledge would be suspected of being gay?

Re: Undercover Greeks?

This is how many Down-Low homosexuals hide their lifestyle from women. No women is going to think or believe that a gay man or boy for that matter will make it or even try to pledge. It is the PERCEIVED MANHOOD that attracts many women to Greek-Lettered individuals. It is no different than what we see in many African countries where two boys beat each other to see who flinches the least. One becomes the MAN, the other is shamed.
