Worship of Minerva

The organization and members of DST vehemently deny the worship of Minerva. There own ritual begs to differ,

"A woman who becomes a Candidate is under the shadow of Minerva, and in no way could we offend one who is under her grace!" (DELTA SIGMA THETA SORORITY, INC., GRAND CHAPTER, CANDIDATE SYLLABUS, 1987, p. 38.)

This is an undeniable statement of idolatry and devotion to a false god. I think this is the most telling statement. It is a way of exalting a false god without using the word WORSHIP.

Re: Worship of Minerva

The question for those who call themselves Christians and belong to a GLO is: where do they gather their definition of worship from? The Bible or the culture? If you wear the name of Christ, then your definition and understanding of worship should come from one source and one source only: the infallible written Word of God. Culture (which is fallible) may have you thinking of worship in a way contrary to what the Word of God actually states. 1 Corinthians 10:21-22 is a good New Testament example of God’s view on participating (or “having part” as the NIV says) with demons: “…you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons. Are we trying to arouse the Lord's jealousy?”

Greek and Egyptian gods are demons, because they are against the monotheistic backbone of the Christian Faith.
