"class"--singular or plural? Need an article?

Which sentence is correct?

1. Mary has ballet class on Mondays and Wednesdays.
2. Mary has a ballet class on Mondays and Wednesdays.
2. Mary has ballet classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Re:

This is a great question.

Without knowing exactly how many ballet classes Mary has on each day, I cannot offer a definitive answer. However, I will assume that she has one each Monday and one each Wednesday.

1. Mary has ballet class on Mondays and Wednesdays.

I like this version. I see ballet class as a noun-countable noun in this example. Therefore, the singular/plural mismatch does not occur. However, it does not tell you how many she has on each day.

2. Mary has a ballet class on Mondays and Wednesdays.

A real grammar pedant would have a problem with this version. Can you have one ballet class over a number of days?

3. Mary has ballet classes on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Grammatically, this version is sound. However, it does not tell you that she only has one class per day.

Therefore, we have a problem. I do not think we can solve it with the sentence structure you offer. I think a rewrite is required.

Mary has a ballet class every Monday and Wednesday.

I think that works.
