A lot of mistakes creep in when people put in a word that sounds the same as the one they mean, but isn't. This may not qualify as grammar, but the commonly confused words section of GM might be a great help to people trying to sort them out.

I had a memo today from a colleague who is leaving and handing over "the reigns" to someone else. At least she's not handing over "the rains".
