Continue sentence after list following colon?

Hello,
Is the sentence below correct, or does it need to terminate at the end of the list following the colon?
"The functional dependence of the cluster growth rate on the following parameters: suspension void fraction, flow shear strain rate, and channel-height to particle-diameter ratio, is explored utilizing both experimental measurements and theoretical considerations."
Thanks!

Re: Continue sentence after list following colon?

You're trying to do two sentences at once here. It's very confusing. (It's definitely wrong.) It's not clear what you're trying to say. And, I don't mean because it's technical. It's because the English is dodgy.

"The functional dependence of the cluster growth rate is explored utilizing both experimental measurements and theoretical considerations which (factor in) suspension void fraction, flow shear strain rate, and channel-height to particle-diameter ratio."

Or something like that. You need to rethink this. Keep it simple.
