I just started using this site in preparation for having my students use it for some independent study work, and I found an error in the verb tests. I do not know how to contact the authors of this site, so I figured I would post this here. It has the following sentence where it wants you to identify the verbs:
"My two sisters sent a card to my aunt and uncle in 1930, and it has only just arrived. A sticker on the card apologised for the delay. I was amazed."
I clicked on sent, has, arrived, apologised, and was. The software showed me that I was wrong to have clicked arrived. The verb in that clause is has arrived, a present perfect tense of the verb. I is difficult to get my students to understand why amazed isn't a verb but a predicate adjective participle, but the authors should understand the perfect tenses.
