OMG.... Pronouns REPLACE nouns and proper nouns. If you say Tracey and Courtney live near the school, you arn't replaceing any nouns or proper nouns. If you said
"She and Tracey live near the school... She is the pronoun replacing Tracey.... Or Tracey and Courtney live near "IT" referring to the school....
