agreement

31/122011

In a sentence with 'one of' I feel the verb should be singular. For example, 'one of the ablest men who has addressed this issue', though grammar guides that I peruse say it should be 'have' (with the relative clause). What's the right answer? I've thought of rewording such sentences and phrases. Help much appreciated. Tony

Re: agreement

You're right. It should be singular.
