Hyphenating Adverb-Adjective

Recently I've noticed the hyphenation of adverbs and adjectives, such as "well-rounded." Is this correct, or should it be simply "well rounded?"

Also, which is correct: "fastest-moving car" or "fastest moving car?"

What is the determining factor when it comes to hyphenating such words? Please help...QUICKLY!

Re: Hyphenating Adverb-Adjective

Hi,

This is covered in the lesson on hyphens with compound adjectives. There is section on adverbs too.

Bottom line with adverbs? Use a hyphen to eliminate ambiguity.
