Toward and Towards

I have zero clue as to what the difference between these two words is. 'Toward', as far as I'm concerned, means 'towards' but sounds better.

Can anyone explain the difference between these two words to me? I'd really appreciate it! Thanks.

Re: Toward and Towards

Toward & Towards are both correct & interchangeable: Towards is British English and Toward is American English.
