What's difference between on TV & in TV?
This is something that only a native English speaker (or someone who is excellent at English) would understand. On TV carries a connotation of being shown via the medium of television (as opposed to something else like radio or cinema). In TV carries a connotation of being "in the TV industry". I think there's overlap between the two ideas too. I hope that helps.
