Apostrophe

If you have a family sign reading Kramer's established in 2007 is the apostrophe correct?

Re: Apostrophe

If the name of the family is 'Kramer' (i.e. has no 's') and the sign is meant to imply this is, for example, their farm, then the apostrophe is correct and in the correct place, i.e. before the 's'. This is similar to the supermarket Sainsbury's which correctly uses a possessive apostrophe as the shop bearing the name belongs to the Sainsbury family.
