Good morning Grammar Monster and Forum.

I know that there is a definition in the book on the difference between these two. My confusion come when they are applied to a sentence:

Is is correct to say "he established the working practises..." using the verb

or should it be "he established the working practices..." using the noun?

A definitive answer would be appreciated, in the mean time we read on...
