I saw her cross the bridge vs I saw her crossing the bridge

A)What is the difference in meaning in the following sentences:
1. I saw her cross the bridge just now.
2. I saw her crossing the bridge just now.

B) In either of the above two sentences,
1. I saw her (this is an independent clause.)
What about 'cross the bridge just now' or 'crossing the bridge just now'?
Are they relative clauses or adjectives modifying 'her'?
If they are not clauses, what kind of phrases are they?

C) Also, could 'crossing the bridge' be a participial phrase? If so, what kind of phrase is 'cross the bridge' since it is not using the present participle of 'cross'?
