When we consider 'I' is singular then why don't we use 's' or 'es' & also why do we say, I was, but not I were, Has any reson of this question? Plz

Re: singular & plural

I is singular. It's know as the first person singular.

It goes: I am, I was, I will be.

That's just how it is.
