few questions

hi all

I'm having a problem deciding which form of verb I should use in the following sentences. Can someone please help me with this.

1) Most the houses in Amsterdam have a hook at the top of the building.
or Most the houses in Amsterdam have hooks at the top of the buildings.
( here i mean each house has only one hook, which one should be the answer)

2) All the patients want to know more information about their diseases.
or All the patients want to know more information about his/her disease.

3) All the students should have a book in his/her hands.
or All the students should have books in their hands.

And what decides the answer?
Thank you so much for answering them.

Re: few questions

This is a good question.

Most the houses in Amsterdam have hooks at the top of the buildings.

All the patients want to know more information about their diseases.

All the students should have books in their hands.

This is covered in the lesson about subject verb agreement.
