When do we use "You and Me?" When do we use "You and I?"
I go by the rule... if I take out the 'you' - does the sentence make sense? For example ' The new law affects you and me' - if you take out you - 'the new law affects me'. - It makes sense. In contrast - The new law affects you and I' vs ' The new law affects I' - it doesn't make sense. Hope that helps a little.
Remember the Olympic song, "I believe in the power of you and I"? Shameful. Yes, I believe in I, don't you?
