2nd attempt: Question about quiz on accusative words

Hi,
Are there two accusative case words in this exercise?:

Q4: In the sentence below, which words are in the accusative case (i.e., the direct object)?

I never forget a face, but in your case I'll be glad to make an exception. (Groucho Marx)

A. never forget
B. a face
C. your case

The answer is B., but what is "an exception"? Isn't that also in the accusative case? If no, why not? What am I misunderstanding?

Thanks,

B

"Isn't that also in the accusative case?"

Why is it in the accusative?
